Drawing inspiration from Japanese Kokeshi Dolls, I designed and fabricated these dolls in collaboration with my RISD classmates, Makoto Kumasaka, Shaina Tabak and Santiago PereĢ. We turned, sanded, painted, and varnished the 2 sets of 5 dolls on the lathe. They come in two different color themes and their heads and bodies are interchangeable.
